I think a disclaimer as exists is appropriate to ensure people are not misled into believing these delegates are confirmed. In fact, no delegate is really confirmed until she arrives in Poland.

I have to say, this list is very flawed. Some of the candidates and countries listed as being 'elected' are not even confirmed or selected to compete in this contest.

I say, stick with the official candidates as posted on the Miss World website (www.missworld.tv). It's the most accurate count of the contestants.

Actually as part of the development of a pageant is speculation, I did search for all of the contestants and I found news articles of each that say they are going to attend. The article clearly says that all information is unconfirmed until the delegates arrive to the host city and it has a box that says that is is a future event and the implications that it has. I don't think the list is "flawed" like the previous comment say, just do your search online and you'll find accurate results of each delegate.

Rapthi Raffella Dannielle Kerkoven represented Sri Lanka. How come her name is not mentioned on the list? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Junius00 (talkcontribs) 07:14, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
